A Welcome Page then Other Webpages Link Together

This is also a very popular internal linking structure of a web site. You always see this kind of website. A welcome home page or welcome page usually with a pretty picture. There is a "Enter" button that lead to a sub-page. Then the subpages link with each others.

The PageRank numbers of all web pages go to stable only after 14 round of repeat doing calculations. The PageRank results are shown in the following diagram:

PageRank Calculation Conclusion:

The web page with highest PageRank is not the Home Page. Since most major search engines only allow you to submit the Home Page, the home page of this type of web site will not have a high PageRank number, thus decrease the chance of ranking high.
